CONSTRUCTION
The primary and auxiliary doors are manufactured using an internal timber frame with a combination of HMR Particleboard and Expanded Polystyrene infill. Consideration is given for termite resistance with H3 LOSP treated pine used for bottom rail, this is then enclosed with a 0.55mm Colorbond® flashing.
The doors are clad both sides with 0.55mm Colorbond® steel before an aluminium extrusion is fitted to the perimeter of primary & secondary panels. The auxiliary door frame is a proprietary pressed steel frame fixed to the primary leaf, and is fitted with Kilargo IS1515 (or equivalent) for dust and weather protection.
The auxiliary door is secured via a turn-snib lock with handle. The primary door can be machined to receive a lockset of client’s choosing – from lever set to a RFID mortise lockset.
Available in a range of made to order sizes and Colorbond® colours.
